When you first start Flipboard, you will be asked to Get started or Sign in. I believe this would be your first visit, so flip the cover upside and click on get started. It will show up new screen to select your favorite topics. Once you select that, it will process them and bring you latest updates from popular websites such as techcrunch, the verge etc. Sliding up will give you option to add your Facebook and twitter profile. Once you add them, your social updates from these two will show up in Flipboard. You can also connect with 12 different social networks(including Facebook and twitter) i.e., Instagram, Google+, YouTube, Google Reader, LinkedIn, Flickr, 500px, Sina Weibo and Renren. Cover stories gives quick overview of what’s happening now whereas you can also make use of Instapaper, Pocket and Readability to save articles to read them later. Once you are in particular category, you can touch on any story to read it or swipe up to view next story. Flipping interface is quite interesting and I personally liked it.
You can download Flipboard here but note that this app is only optimized for smartphones and not for tablets.
